Successfully Funded on Kickstarter: "TabStrap" – A Simply Clever Leather iPad Holder with Hand Strap

Sending a quick email or booking a trip – thanks to smartphones and tablets, we do these things casually on the go. But when a task takes longer than expected, we quickly miss the good old days: a stable screen on a desk and a comfy keyboard. Pack & Smooch wants to bring that desktop feeling to every situation. Together with Jan, we’re launching a new project that makes handling mobile devices much easier: TabStrap – a clever holder for all iPad models and tablets with smooth backs. We're making it a reality with a Kickstarter campaign. Within just three hours, we reached our first funding goal of €2,000!

Special Vacuum Foil Coating for Secure Hold and Flexibility

The TabStrap brings together quality, design, comfort and functionality – all in the proven Pack & Smooch style. The hand strap is made of pure Merino wool felt, the back of vegetable-tanned leather. A special vacuum foil coating ensures it sticks firmly to the iPad and removes without residue. With the TabStrap, your iPad stays securely in your hand – or can be placed upright or flat. It’s the perfect solution for relaxed iPad use: whether lounging on the sofa, cooking in the kitchen, or commuting on a train.

It also shines in the office: Combined with the Apple Pencil and external accessories like a keyboard or the Paperlike screen protector, it turns your iPad into a real productivity tool. We’ve even integrated a pencil holder into the TabStrap – including a slot for the Pencil cap!

Crowdfunding Expertise for a Hamburg-Made Innovation

Jan Sapper was so inspired by the idea and design of our new tool that he took over managing the Kickstarter campaign. The Hamburg-based creator has plenty of experience with crowdfunding and tech products – including Protonet’s €3 million campaign. With TabStrap, he’s helping push another Hamburg-made innovation. And just like all our products at Pack & Smooch, the TabStrap will be 100% handmade in our own workshop.
